As promised, we put our Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 experience into practise.
The last weeks we have worked on a new design of the remote layout.
And we did not only change the looks, but also extended the functionality:
• No image files anymore that scale badly, but every pixel is drawn by our code and optimised for your display size and resolution.
• The button response is better highlighted, especially on iPhone.
• Long press on the arrow buttons to navigate faster. This is convenient in the TV Menu or lists, such as Youtube search results.
• Long press on the fast video control buttons to seek faster in videos, such as in the Youtube TV app.
• Support for the native screen resolution of the new iPad Pro 10.5".
• As a result of the new layout, myTifi finally supports Split View on iPad.
• A big cleanup resulted in a smaller app size.
• Complete integration of Voice Over Accessibility on the Standard and Navigate tabs for blind and low vision users.
• We solved several issues.
