Meander lets you measure routes, shapes, areas, anything that you can see on your screen. Simply draw your line with mouse clicks on a nearly-transparent window, set Meander's scale against a known distance, and read off the answer in the unit of your choice. A selection of units included, e.g., miles, kilometers, metres, feet, inches. Add any further units you like -- if you want to measure the world in nautical miles or even tea-trays, you can! Useful for engineers, architects, walkers, runners, cyclists, and no doubt many others too.
