You probably remember spending time as a student taking down your bibliography references on lined paper, and later storing them in a three-ring binder.
Then, when spreadsheets and databases came along, technology started to replace your longhand notes.
JabRef is an open-source application that helps you easily manage your bibliography references from books, articles, manuals, conferences, doctoral theses, pamphlets, and other resources.
The file format that JabRef uses is BibTeX, the standard LaTeX bibliography format.
JabRef allows you to group your references by keyword, find works through a search engine, add your own fields, and more.
