InstaRate Widget for iTunes allows you to visualize the currently playing song in iTunes, and to quickly rate it. It includes a very useful Notification Center widget to rate the song whenever you want. Tip: Click on the album artwork to play or pause a song!

You can activate the widget in the Notification Center or opening the app and pressing Command+N, then you can enable it in the System Preferences.
