The update is needed to activate the new features. After updating please go to advanced menu and tap on reset to default. Earlier devices may not be able to reset itself after updating. If the new features arent showing up please disconnect the device and reconnect after resetting to default.- Disabling modesIndividual modes can be disabled by holding down the icon for 1 second until the text turns red. Disabled modes will be skipped over when double-clicking the side button, but can still be accessed directly through the app.- New Power Settings:Battery Alarm: Enable or disable pop-up alerts when the device reaches the battery percentage you select. Set the battery percentage threshold to alert low battery. The side button will also indicate low battery. Green indicates battery is above threshold while red indicate it is below the threshold.Battery Level Method: Instant will show the actually battery level which may fluctuate depending on load. Average will show a smoothed level. Note that Instant can cause a false low-level alarm.Auto-Off: The light will turn off automatically after the preset time. Disable by moving slider all the way to the left.Nightlight: Side battery indicator LED will remain on for set minutes or hours after turning the light off. Color is based on battery alarm setting. 24-hour cycle will cause it to repeat after 24 hours based on the last time a button we pressed. Group mode: If this is enabled, every device that has the same first three characters in the name will operate simultaneously when controlled from the app.- Better phone alerts when disconnectedThe app will now alert you when your device is disconnected when the app is in the background.- Better indication of Smart lights connection statusOn the Devices page, the icons will now be red, yellow or green. Red indicates the device is not available to connect. Turn the light on and back off to wake it out of sleep and then refresh the Devices page by tapping on the +. Yellow indicates the device is available for connection or pairing. Tap on device to start connection. Green indicates the device is connected to your phone. Also, if you see a red icon and a character shows up in front of the Last connected line that indicates that the device is currently connect to another device. You must disconnect from the other device before trying to connect with your current device.
