finessTV Client plays the live TV stream of a TV receiver or archived movies.
There are currently two different server versions:
finessTV Server ET for streaming the live TV stream of EyeTV
finessTV Server ST for streaming the live TV stream of a Sat IP (DLNA/UPnP) compatible TV receiver (like Fritz!Box Cable Router or FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB‑C)
Clients on Apple TV, iPhone, iPad or Mac can easily and privately connect to the server within the local network or from outside the local Wi-Fi, and friends can be invited to share television and archived movies.
After the successful connection, the available channels are displayed on the left and the current live TV stream is displayed on the right. If EPG data is available, an info will be shown with the time start / end of the program. And scheduled recordings can be added in the EPG overview.
Please note that incoming connections must be allowed in the firewall settings for the server and the Mac client.
